Aviation & logistics

The plan is right until the first disruption, and there is a disruption every day

Aviation and logistics run on plans that are correct until the weather, a slot or a customs query says otherwise. We have run core systems for the region's largest carrier, and we build the systems that re-plan before the shift starts, keep the ramp coordinated, and clear freight paperwork on arrival.

The pressures

What an operator in this sector is carrying

Disruption re-planning by hand, under the clock

Weather, a technical delay or a slot change cascades through crew, gates, stands, ground equipment and connecting passengers. Controllers re-plan across several systems with a phone in each hand, and the recovery plan is only as good as the ten minutes available to make it.

Ground operations coordinated across thousands of people

Turnarounds depend on dozens of teams and contractors hitting a sequence in minutes. Requests, incidents and equipment faults arrive on radios, apps and paper, and the operations centre sees the problem after it has already cost a delay.

Freight that moves faster than its paperwork

Air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and customs declarations, in several formats and languages, for every consignment. Clearance waits on a person reconciling documents that disagree with each other, and a mismatch found late is a hold at the border.

Security approval that any new system must survive

Nothing touches airside operations, crew systems or passenger data without passing the operator's security governance and the regulator's programme behind it. Vendors that have not been through that process underestimate it by months, and a pilot that cannot be approved for production is a demo, whatever it cost.

Destinations, not demos

What AI-native looks like here

Each scenario maps to an engagement pattern we ship with the ninety-day method. Agents work the cases; your people approve at the gates that matter.

Agentic process automation

A supply chain that re-plans itself

Demand shifts detected overnight, routes and inventory rebooked automatically, and your planners briefed before the morning stand-up. The agent watches the signals, proposes the re-plan against your constraints and costs, and executes the parts you have pre-approved while a planner confirms the rest.

How the pattern works
Document intelligence

Freight documents cleared on arrival

Every consignment's documents are read and cross-checked as they land: waybill against invoice, invoice against packing list, declared values against tariff codes. Consistent files are prepared for declaration automatically; discrepancies reach a specialist with the specific mismatch highlighted.

How the pattern works
Customer operations

Ground incidents triaged as they are reported

Requests and incidents from any channel are understood, prioritised and routed to the team that can act, in the language they were reported in, with the operations centre seeing the pattern rather than the noise.

How the pattern works
The regulatory picture

The regulatory picture for aviation and logistics in the Gulf

Aviation runs on security standards before it runs on data standards. Anything touching airside operations, passenger data or crew systems sits under the national civil aviation authority's security programme and international obligations layered on top, and the airline's own information security governance is usually stricter than either. We have delivered into that environment before: the systems we build are approved through the operator's change and security processes, not around them.

Passenger and employee data is personal data under the UAE's PDPL and its free-zone equivalents, and under Saudi Arabia's data protection law across the border. Residency is a design input: operational AI runs inside the operator's boundary, on sovereign or private cloud, and inference does not leave the jurisdiction.

Freight adds customs authorities, whose declaration systems and tariff rules change often. Our document patterns treat those rules as configuration reviewed on release, and every automated declaration carries the source documents and checks behind it, so a query from the authority is answered from the record. Where an operator spans several jurisdictions, residency and rules are configured per station rather than assumed from head office.

Three engagements for the Emirates Group from the delivery record: a facial-recognition workforce platform deployed group-wide, service management for more than 70,000 staff, and encrypted infrastructure between maintenance facilities. All are pre-AI work. They are why we know how an airline approves, secures and runs a system, which is most of what reaching production requires. The same approvals govern any AI we would build there.

One of our engineers sits inside your organisation from the diagnostic through to go-live, with an engagement lead, integration engineering and design behind them. In an airline or a logistics operator that means shifts in the operations centre and on the ramp, learning the re-planning calls and the freight document flow at the pace they really move, before a line of code is written.
